U.S. History – 1776 to 1865

This course is US history taught from the perspective of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. We will start with the 1776 Key Date and continue through the Civil War, which has been called “the continental divide” of US History, and that failure to understand it is a failure to understand America. This class requires minimal homework; mainly a review of class notes each week to prepare for a quiz on the previous class’s content. Recommended for high school age students and their parents.
