America’s Founding Documents – 1 semester

This course provides a foundation for understanding the origins and theory of our constitutional republic. It starts with the philosophy of liberty, the proper role of government and continues with a detailed analysis of the Articles of Confederation, the Declaration of Independence, and the U.S. Constitution.

Classes meet once per week on Thursday morning at 8:00 AM. Students can attend the live class in Burley, or join via Zoom. All sessions are recorded for later review. There will be weekly quizzes on the prior week lecture and reading assignments. Class instructor is Alan Fluckiger.
